Dear Business Executive, With a couple of seasons under our belts now and with the next season looming on the horizon, it becomes ever more apparent how important “Product Recognition” in the Motor Sports arena is. We have a number of great Sponsors across the board, from local merchants to industry staples. But, with the track and industry becoming more and more popular, many potential Sponsors still remain quietly in the background. We hope this is due to lack of information, which is the reason for this letter. As we have made improvements, we have increasingly seen racers filling up the staging lanes, as well as, spectators filling up the grandstands and standing along the fences. We also know that our work is not done. We have many more lofty goals, many of which we hope to accomplish this year. These goals include, but are not restricted to, building a new Control Tower, adding new finish line electronic score boards, new restrooms, new maintenance building, and re-paving the race strip. With these lofty goals, comes the realization that we can not do it alone. We need help from organizations such as yours. And we are confident that you realize the importance and profitability of keeping your name in front of your customer, whether through a track sign advertising your business, or through sponsoring a special race. Growing attendance means greater business visibility and name recognition, which equates to a positive impact, thus, increased profits. The attached sheet details our Track Sign Program, but, this is only the tip of the iceberg for increased sales potential. As a Major or Associate sponsor of a special race or series, you can greatly help your bottom line as well. Special races will be aggressively promoted through area radio stations, flyers, area newspapers, on the internet, in racing publications, at the track, and on schedules. And as a sponsor, your business will not only be advertised through these avenues of communication, but, your web-site will also be linked to ours and listed on our “Sponsors” page. So, as visitors view our site, they can readily view your business as well, and I’m proud to say that our web-site has heavy traffic throughout the year. Also available this year is the opportunity for one lucky sponsor to have your business name announced hundreds of times throughout the race program. This of course is by sponsoring one of the two electronic finish line score boards as mentioned previously. Every pair of racers that cross the finish line will not only have everyone in the stands looking at your sign, but, will be listening to the announcer say elapsed times and mile per hours in “YOUR” lane.
